Crouse R&D center is divided into
vehicle electronic systems and vehicle mechanical systems divisions and has
been able to localize many auto parts to date.

To improve technical knowledge and
increase productivity, Crouse launches projects in parallel with Amirkabir,
Tehran and Sharif universities. About 40 students of these universities are
working in Crouse's R&D center now, which in the future they will have the
chance to be hired in Crouse.

Last year, Crouse localized new
generation of body control unit of number of local cars, different types of
switches, new generation of ECU with specific features and design and
manufacture of mechanical components of electrical platforms.
Crouse, with three decades of work in production of automotive parts,
has been designing and localizing many advanced automotive parts in its R&D
center. About 250 people are working in two electronic and mechanical divisions
of Crouse R&D center.
Crouse has always paid special attention to R&D since its
establishment and to increase market share focuses on product cost reduction
and manufacturing wide range high quality products. Crouse R&D center is
divided into vehicle electronic systems and vehicle mechanical systems
divisions and has been able to localize many auto parts since 2010.
To improve technical knowledge, reduce production costs, increase
productivity, optimize material usage, and manage engineering changes, Crouse
launches projects in parallel with Amirkabir, Tehran and Sharif universities.
About 40 students of these universities are working in Crouse's R&D center
now, which in the future they will have the chance to be hired in Crouse. Normally,
such as any other fields, automotive R&D activities are a long-term process
and a typical project outcome appearance will take more than one year.
Recognizing this, Crouse timely start of projects brings the results at a right
time.
Last year, with assistance of Crouse engineers
and cooperation with mentioned universities, Crouse was able to localize many
parts, such as body control unit, immobilizer, airbag control unit, multimedia,
electronic switches, ECU housing, fuse box, etc.
for different types of Iranian cars. Regarding
the procedure of localization project initiation, a specialized committee
setups meeting with different business units to prioritize part localization
projects by customer needs and based on technical, operational and economic
feasibility study.
